[IMPROVISERS]

**CHANGING JENNIFERS**

Adelaide's best improvisers present a show of madcap comedy!

Changing Jennifers are a comedy improvisation troupe who specialize in long-form improvisation. They get several suggestions from the audience, a location, an era, a famous person, a magical item, anything, and then improvise an hour-long story based on those suggestions.

They perform wild and obscure stories straight from the performers' twisted minds. No two shows are ever the same and no suggestion is too daunting for Changing Jennifers. In the same vein as classic shows 'Whose Line Is It Anyway', 'Thank God You're Here' and 'The Mighty Boosh', Changing Jennifers are side-splitting improvisational titans.

[PLAYERS]

Changing Jennifers was created by Dan and Eden. Prior to this Dan, Eden and Eugene, playing as The Dick Van Dykes, competed in and won numerous TheatreSports competitions. This inspired them to start a troupe of their own so they could explore other aspects of improvisation. Now, the Jennifers perform a variety of shows predominantly aimed at an adult audience.

DAN

Dan is a highly-skilled mechanic and has an amazing talent for making impressive machinery. Hannibal once said to Dan "With a pair of pliers and a little time, you could fix anything but dinner". He is also an excellent fighter and is invaluable in hand-to-hand combat. Dan never touches alcohol, preferring milk instead. He suffers an intense fear of flying.

EDEN

Eden is a Flinders Drama Centre graduate. He has been involved with South Australian improvisation troupes for many years and is co-founder of Changing Jennifers, for whom he is one of the primary players. Eden has represented South Australia in the past two National TheatreSports Competitions and he runs numerous improvisation workshops.

EUGENE

Eugene is well known for his S.A. Lotteries Christmas scratchie TV ad and for his role as explorer John McDoull Stuart in the ABC docu-drama 'A Wire Through The Heart'. Unaccustomed to public speaking as he is, Eugene prefers to allow his alter ego, Captain Dangerous, to inhabit his body during impro performances. Dangerous looks and acts much like Eugene, yet with subtle differences. See if you can spot them!

NICK

In a small bar above a comedy club in Auckland, Nick first played an old childrens game called Grandmas Keys. It was this experience, taught by The Improv Bandits in 2006, that has led him to explore the art of improvisation ever since. In 2007 he

moved to Johannesburg where he helped teach basic impro skills workshops to local youth in the Market Laboratory Theatre. Returning to Adelaide a year later, he met the original Jennifers and has been jamming and performing with them ever since.

PHILL

As a young turtle herder Phill Cowie always dreamt of making the world laugh, then one day an amazing thing happened {SOME CONTENT MISSING} and now hes a stand-up comedian. After selling out his first headline show in Adelaide he has gone on to involve himself in radio and improvised comedy on a regular basis. So if you like a lot of crazy and wild hair and more jewellery than Mr T has sold on e-bay then sit back, relax and enjoy the world that is Phill Cowie.
